8 Hours of Behind-the-Wheel Driving

2 Hour Parent/Teen Course

Off-Site testing is available to students who complete the full Driver Education Course. DMV inspectors come to the Windsor or South Windsor office. Students use the school cars and we handle the processing of paperwork.

Students may enroll in this program once they have reached the age of 16. It is recommended that 16 and 17 year old students obtain a learner's permit at the DMV as soon as possible in order to begin instruction on the road. For a schedule of the program, view our class calendars.

Mandatory 8 Hours Safe Driving Practices Program:

This course is mandatory for any individual obtaining a driver's license.

To credit all eight hours, students must attend classes #6 P/T, 7, 8 & 9 on our class calendars.
Class #6 P/T must be attended by both the student and a parent/legal guardian

Behind the Wheel Driving Instruction

Students must have transportation to one of our Global locations for driving lessons (remember to bring your permit, glasses or contacts if needed, and wear sneakers!)

Students are required by law to have their permit and any visual aids needed to drive for each lesson.  If student fails to have these items at scheduled pick up time, they are legally unable to drive and will be charged a cancel not on time fee. 

Students must be present at the time and location of scheduled driving.

Cancellations for scheduled driving appointments must be made no later than 72 hours prior to lesson.

Cancellation fee schedule:

72-48 hours prior to lesson         $25.00

Less than 48 hours prior to lesson     $50.00

No-Show                                         $105.00
